Star mPOP is a combined receipt printer and cash drawer for use with Shopify POS, Vend POS Lightspeed, and other Point Of Sale Systems. At just 10cm high and 30cm wide, the mPOP™ is easily transportable and offers a contemporary alternative to a traditional cash draw. The mPOP can be easily secured on any counter top or or can be fixed under the counter. We have fully tested the mPOP with Shopify POS on an ipad, and it is automatically detected by the apple ipad Shopify POS app. It will print the customers receipt on the compact 57mm thermal printer, and opens the cash draw automatically when a sale is completed. This is an excellent option if you are wanting something small and stylish and don't handle loads of cash transactions. With Bluetooth connectivity, the mPOP will connect with Apple, Android, Windows or Linux tablets or smartphones and only one mains cable is needed for operation (NZ 240v power cable included). It is not really suitable for a busy hospo environment doing hundreds of cash transactions per hour. For high volume stores, we recommend a metal cash draw and separate printer.
