Beautiful vintage hand-stitched cross stitch tapestry depicting the famous 1825 portrait 'The Red Boy' (Master Lambton) by Sir Thomas Lawrence. This classic mid-century piece features a young boy in a crimson velvet suit lounging on a rocky landscape.
A wonderful, unique addition for lovers of vintage art, needlework, or Grand millennial décor.

Frame: Ornate decorative wooden frame with a dark metallic/gold finish.
Protection: Framed securely behind glass.
Backing: The old, decaying framing tape has been freshly replaced with brand-new professional backing tape to ensure it is clean, sealed, and ready to hang.
Condition:
In very good used vintage condition with excellent color preservation. Please note the following flaws (as shown in photos):
A small piece has broken off the edge of the ornate wooden frame.
Minor cosmetic vintage wear/flaws on the back backing board.
