These beautiful pieces of kimono fabric have been carefully unpicked from an original vintage kimono.

Aizome: Japanese cotton dyed with natural indigo, it is highly regarded and collected within Japan and across the world.
‘Ai’ means indigo, and ‘some’ means dyeing.

This is an assorted pack of 10 Japanese Aizome kimono fabrics.

Please note that there are colour and pattern variations on this package. Selections are different for every package. Images shown in our description here are EXAMPLES of the pack. The pieces are approximately 16cm × 16cm

Material: silk, cotton, linen. Most of the fabrics in this bundle are cotton.

All my kimono fabrics are hand-picked (by me!) from Japan.
As the fabric has come from old kimonos, there will be small pinholes near the edges and small marks from wear.
Due to the age of the fabric, there may be some small stains and slight fraying.
